qqe Cricket Betting – Bet on All Formats from T20 to Test
BPL, IPL, T20 World Cup and international matches — all available to bet on at qqe. Place your bets across various markets from match winner to top batsman.
T20, ODI and Test — each format has a different style of betting
Twenty20
In a 20-over match, runs come quickly and wickets fall often. The situation changes with every over and every ball, making T20 the most popular format for in-play betting. BPL and IPL are both played in this format.
One Day International
In the 50-over format the pace of play is relatively slower and strategy plays a bigger role. There are more options to bet on mid-over markets, partnerships, and run rates. The ICC World Cup is played in this format.
Test Cricket
In a five-day Test, a draw is also a result, so you can bet on three outcomes — team A wins, team B wins, or a draw. Innings-based markets and the influence of pitch and weather conditions carry special importance here.
How betting on cricket, football and other sports differs from each other
A cricket match has hundreds of balls, so in-play markets stay active for much longer. Odds shift quickly after each wicket or big six, which keeps the betting dynamic.
Football results are decided in 90 minutes, so there are fewer markets than in cricket. However, handicap, both teams to score, and half-time/full-time markets have their own following.
In other sports like tennis, kabaddi, or volleyball, the main attractions are match winner and set betting. Among Bangladeshi fans, cricket remains the centre of sports betting.

The 6 markets that attract the most bets in cricket
Each market has its own characteristics — some are straightforward, others are more complex but interesting.
Match Winner
A direct bet on which team will win the match. In T20 and ODI there are only two outcomes, while in Test there are three (team A, team B, or draw). Its simple structure makes it the most common market.
Toss
A bet on which team — team A or team B — will win the toss. Since both sides have roughly equal chances, the odds are usually close. This market is settled before the match begins.
Top Batsman
A bet on which batsman will score the most runs for their team. This market has separate odds for each team, giving you the chance to choose based on your own analysis.
Total Runs Over/Under
A bet on whether the total runs scored in a match or an innings will be more (over) or fewer (under) than a set number. Pitch conditions and weather are worth considering here.
Multi Bet
Multiple selections from different matches are combined, and you win only if all selections are correct. For example, picking three selections across three separate matches multiplies the combined odds and increases the potential return.
Player Performance
Markets such as how many wickets a specific bowler will take or whether a batsman will score a fifty require a deeper knowledge of the game. These markets generate particular interest in T20.
Decimal, fractional and American — three types of odds
Odds are the language of betting — they tell you how much you might get back for a given stake. Odds are written in three formats, but the underlying calculation is the same.
Example 1 — Team A to win (stake ৳200)
| Format | Value | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 2.50 | Multiply your stake by this number to get the total return |
| Fractional | 3/2 | ৳3 profit for every ৳2 staked |
| American | +150 | A plus sign means ৳150 profit on a ৳100 stake |
If you win a ৳200 bet you get back ৳500 (৳300 profit + ৳200 original stake). If you lose, the ৳200 is gone.
Example 2 — Favourite team B to win (stake ৳200)
| Format | Value | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 1.25 | Favourites always have lower odds |
| Fractional | 1/4 | Only ৳1 profit for every ৳4 staked |
| American | -400 | A minus sign means you need to stake ৳400 to win ৳100 in profit |
If you win with a ৳200 stake, the total return is ৳250 (৳50 profit). A favourite pays less, but is considered more likely to win.
Three matches together — how returns grow with a multi bet
In a multi bet, selections from three separate matches are combined into a single bet. The odds of each selection are multiplied together.
Say you pick a team in each of three matches with decimal odds of 1.50, 1.70 and 1.80. The combined odds come to 4.59 (rounded), so a ৳100 stake returns ৳459 — but only if all three selections are correct. If even one is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.
Multi bets are especially popular in cricket because several T20 matches can run on the same day.
Live betting during the match — odds change on every wicket
Live in-play betting means you can place bets even after a match has started. In cricket, odds update instantly after every wicket, every maiden over, or a big six.
For example: team A is batting, 80 runs for 2 wickets after 10 overs. At that point, team A's odds of winning looked quite good. But if two more wickets fall in the next over, their odds will jump sharply and team B's odds will shorten. Live betting captures these shifts in real time.
Run rate per over, the batting team's momentum after the powerplay, or a bowler's form in the death overs — all of these affect in-play odds. You will find real-time markets in the WL Live Betting section at qqe.
In ODI, bettors review pitch conditions during the innings break, and in Test, at the end of each day's play to check the next day's odds. This opportunity is also part of live betting.
- When wickets fall in the powerplay, odds on the total runs under market shorten
- When a tail-end batsman comes to the crease, the next wicket market becomes active quickly
- As the run rate drops, the batting team's odds of winning lengthen
- Live markets can close quickly — it is better not to delay your decision
- In Test cricket, if rain is forecast, the draw odds shorten
Important things to keep in mind with cricket betting
- Set a budget: Only bet money that you can afford to lose without it affecting your household. Betting is entertainment, not an obligation.
- Understand the market first: Before starting a new type of bet — such as handicap or innings runs — gain some experience with small amounts.
- Do not bet on emotion: Betting out of excessive enthusiasm for your favourite team reduces your judgement. Analyse the situation before making a decision.
- Be careful with multi bets: Higher odds do not automatically mean better — all three selections must be correct. It is wiser to focus carefully on fewer selections.
- Read the rules: Each market has its own terms. Read qqe's terms and conditions once so you are not caught off guard.
